The year was 2010. At the mere age of 14, Sharifah realised she wanted to work towards having a career as a filmmaker in the media industry. Since then she hasn't stopped working for that dream. From filming live events, such as weddings and sporting events, to fulfilling a range of roles on short film productions, Sharifah has now found that her true calling is to be a producer. Her organisational skills and love of planning has helped her begin to achieve this. As a result, she has produced short films such as Sleepless and documentaries like Holy Matrimony. She co-managed Source TV, which regularly creates content for Coventry University's Student Union Youtube page and founded a Video Production club.

Sharifah also has a huge soft spot for working with children and she can regularly be found filming funny skits with a number of her nieces and nephews ("niblings" as she likes to call them). One of her ultimate goals is to produce a children's TV show.

Sharifah has recently finished producing short film, Lost Online which is based around social media. The film has been receiving great feedback!
